Active Duty Military Personnel
If you are active duty military seeking legal assistance, please contact Operation Enduring LAMP Legal Assistance for Military Personnel at (800) 204-2222, ext. 1855. The LAMP program helps active duty military, members of the Reserves and National Guard called to active duty, and their families with a wide range of legal issues ranging from family law matters to employment issues to consumer law.

The Governor's Criminal Justice Division maintains a list of current specialty court programs, which include veterans court programs.

Texas Wide Open for Veterans
Texas Wide Open for Veterans, a new website offered by the Texas Workforce Commission and Texas.gov, features information about the state’s affordable housing markets, significant job growth, and a diverse culture for veterans looking to relocate. The website also gives employers information about how hiring veterans can help their company thrive in Texas, such as receiving up to a $9,600 tax credit for each veteran hired.
