The Department of Research and Analysis receives special requests for survey and report generation on data not readily available or normally collected by the State Bar. The department attempts to be responsive to these special requests. At times there may be a fee dependent upon the scope of the request. Submit an online request.
The State Bar conducted a poll of the contested Supreme Court of Texas, Court of Criminal Appeals, and Court of Appeals district races up for election. This was a non-partisan straw poll of current State Bar of Texas members. It was a preference poll only and had no bearing on the election. The State Bar did not endorse any candidates.
