Amarillo Individuals Honored by State Bar of Texas

(Austin) – Presentation of awards honoring exceptional service to the public and the legal profession will be a highlight of the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting, June 26-27, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

Christopher L. Jensen and Andy Little of Amarillo will each be presented with a Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA) President's Award of Merit for leadership in hosting the National Trial Competition (NTC).

Jensen and Little played a significant role in the NTC's success.

They worked with the American College of Trial Lawyers and coordinated the logistics of a national competition with the largest number of competing teams in its history. Teams from 156 law schools throughout the nation participated in the event.

The State Bar of Texas is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Texas that provides educational programs for the legal profession and the public, administers the minimum continuing legal education program for attorneys, and manages the attorney discipline system.
