Pro Bono Recognition
The State Bar of Texas celebrates legal professionals who generously donate their time and talent to help change the lives of people in need. In 1992, we created a Pro Bono College to recognize those who have far exceeded the 50-hour recommended pro bono minimum* each year. Pro bono volunteers contribute leadership and a commitment to the idea that justice for all must be a reality in our democracy.
This program recognizes lawyers who go above and beyond to ensure all Texans have access to our justice system.
Do you know a legal professional who has made outstanding contributions to the the community? Honor them.
Attorneys who go above and beyond the aspirational hours of pro bono may join the college
